Downtown for Thomas Dolby at Grammy Museum

Last night we saw Thomas Dolby at the Grammy Museum and he was amazing! He has a new album coming out next week and I can't wait to buy it. I wasn't a big Dolby fan....but I am now.

These presentations at the Grammy Museum are totally cool.  They're in a small theater (like 200 seats) and generally the first half is some questions with the artist and then the second half is some tasty live music in a really intimate setting...Dolby was so funny, VERY smart, and shame on me for not knowing this...funkier than hell.

Like I said, can't wait for the new release next week. I suspect a couple of the tracks will be huge with DJs and in the clubs.  It's called A Map of the Floating City...and there's a whole fascinating concept behind the title that he talked about...and that's a whole other story...look it up online.

Lucky freebie tickets off Twitter...thank you Grammy Museum!

We're back there again tonight (Grammy Museum) for The Time (now known as Original 7ven)!
