Doheny Drive

Saw a restored print of Breakfast at Tiffany's last night.  I've seen it before but nonetheless - - I was so taken with how perfect it is.  The story, the directing, New York looking so beautiful back in the day AND Audrey Hepburn....

They sure don't make em like that anymore.....

Pit Bulls in shades

At first I was behind this truck and there was a dog hanging over the edge....I was worried he would fall out....which I just couldn't stand to see.

Well, the sitch was a bit different then expected.....not only were there 3 dogs....all safely tethered...they were also wearing shades to protect their eyes....

Silly me....only in Hollywood!

There's a new Carl's which opened in Baker. It is sparkling clean and absolutely the best place to make the road pit stop on way to or from Vegas.

We lovingly call it "the C-house".

Signature Hotel, Las Vegas

FYI these are the 3 non-smoking towers adjacent to the MGM Hotel. Try to get a high floor with a balcony, and I kinda doubt you'll ever want to go back to one of the hotels where you can't open a window.

We caught the Vegas thunderstorm last night from the 26th floor balcony vantage point....

We always head back early to miss hours of traffic. Should be a gorgeous drive with all the clouds.
