Nobody's really a stranger

Ok this is why you do a road trip...we are leaving Indianapolis and of course we had to do our departing Starbucks run. We just met Joanna who works at the Starbucks on Emerson just off the 465, and she is a doll. We walk in and she's like "hi guys" and next thing you know, we're talking like we've known each other 20 years. She used to live in Los Angeles (Santa Clarita) but now lives in Indiana because that's where her boyfriend is from. They had recently been to Toronto so she starts talking to Brian about how much they love Canada, which of course then led to another conversation with a customer who'd just arrived and jumped in with people he knew who lived in Canada--one in Portage la Prairie, another who spent time on a First Nations reserve in Alberta with his missionary parents as a child, friends in Ontario....

Moral of the story...we're really all sorta connected, if we can just get past that first hello... And Starbucks is the glue that binds us all together...who knew...!

PS. Joanna says they'll be out in Fresno for the music festival, that her boyfriend is having a piece performed there, I just wanted to send a shoutout and say congrats!!
