So evidently somebody who was supposed to be papering the Silverlake area with Prince promotional posters got a little lazy.  They threw some in/on the trash along Sunset Blvd.

Soooo yes, maybe I did take  something OUT OF/OFF OF the trash because....

because.....

well you know why....because I love the purple one.

Oh relax, I washed my hands after.

It's just this simple - the cosmos and view from the roof downtown make it worthwhile.  Best on a Sunday afternoon when there's no big head trip or line.  I would never stand in line....just go at the "off" times.

Tales from the Purple Rain - Prince at the Forum

Just a little note from deep in....I'm one person in LA who is loving her little purple corner of the world while it lasts.  If you're reading this - just know how great the Prince shows are at the old school Forum and get out to a show!  Since Prince doesn't work with a record label anymore, everything is word of mouth...just doing my share.  At any rate, Prince seems to have taken up the cause of getting people to the fabulous Forum and I have to say....it's a great cause!  We need venues other than just Staples and all the huge corporate conglomerates....and being back at the Forum is just what the doctor ordered.

Truly, grab a friend and keep it loose.  Go to the box office or Ticketmaster the day of the show and see if you can grab a deal on tickets.  That's what we've done and we've seen a living legend for $25 each on a few occasions.....a m a z i n g!  Go and I predict you'll want to go back.  There's just nothing like Prince live.....we've gone too many times to mention.

And lastly, a little teaser....the night we did pay for VIP seats (my birthday week no less) yep, yours truly got to dance on stage with Prince....so ya might wanna pop for some expensive seats in the VIP table areas in front of the stage if you can get your hands on them.....it's worth a shot!  I can now die happy!

So ciao for now, I gotta polish my purple dancing shoes for tonight.
