Almost the full moon

As usual, lots of activity and social stuff around the full moon. Friends seem to come out of the woodwork and there's always a bunch of stuff to do...going to a Buddhist meeting and then a friend's gig. All with this beautiful moon over us...really good night to crank up the tunes in the car.

Good Deeds - 2

We've made a new friend at yoga....someone who lost all their vision a year ago....with just a bit coming back in the past 6 months.  A very brave special person who is taking yoga in spite of the vision issues.

Anyway, we drove him to a bbq over the weekend because obviously, he can't drive.  It made my life richer to help this special person who is going through such a life-altering experience.  I have incredible respect for him - even barely knowing him.

So it's day 17 - - and I hate this project.  LOL! Definitely speaks to my ability to stay with something (I think).  I mean I don't really hate it - - but I'm judging it - thinking (especially since it's public) "why am I doing this" "who cares" "what if someone is actually reading this".  But I'm staying true to it.

In 17 days it's gone from really hot - - to feeling like a different season....a close friend got in a semi-bad car accident but is ok....and we've made friends with some cool people in a yoga class and all of a sudden feels like we are part of a new "community" or "family".  Funny how in one moment you feel like an outsider and then you step through a door and you feel a "part of".
